Milford students meet Slossberg at General Assembly
Students and parents from district represented by state Sen. Gayle S. Slossberg, D-Milford, visited with her at the opening of the General Assembly's 2013 Legislative Session Jan. 9 at the State Capitol, according to a release.
"The students attend Joseph A. Foran High School in Milford, and are engaged participants in local politics," the release said. "They witnessed the opening of session in the Senate Chamber before being recognized on the Senate floor by Senator Slossberg."
“These young men and women all have bright futures ahead of them,” Slossberg said, also in the release. “Their civic awareness and sense of social responsibility are inspiring, and it is heartening to think that these students may one day be leaders in our state and beyond.”
