Malloy top aide headed back to strategy group
Roy Occhiogrosso, who recently resigned his job as Gov. Dannel P. Malloy's senior communications adviser, is to rejoin the firm of Global Strategy Group, according to a release.
Occhiogrosso will serve in the position of managing director in the Hartford office, the release said.
Occhiogrosso, a partner of the firm from 2003-10, worked in the Malloy administration as well as on the gubernatorial campaign.
“We are delighted that Roy is rejoining GSG,” said GSG CEO Jon Silvan, also in the release. “His deep expertise in private and not-for-profit sector communications, combined with his vast experience in government and politics makes him an incredible asset to our team and to our clients.”

The relase also noted that Occhiogrosso "will team
with Tanya Meck (senior vice president and managing director for communications) to focus on strategic communications and public affairs."
