Elicker campaign launches Spanish language website
NEW HAVEN - The campaign of Alderman Justin Elicker,
a Democratic candidate for mayor, on Thursday said in a statement
that the campaign has launched a Spanish language website.
“Every step of
the way our campaign has been about reaching out to every neighborhood and
every group in the city," Elicker said in the statement "The city needs to do more to engage its residents and
be more inclusive in the decision making process.”
"This website will not only act as a way for Spanish
speakers to engage our campaign, but it also serves as an example of the more
inclusive approach I will bring to city hall," he said, also in the statement.
The campaign also recently opened a campaign headquarters at 390
Whalley Ave., the statement said.
