Malloy wants refund for Connecticut Metro-North customers
A release from the office of Gov. Dannel Malloy Tuesday said that in a letter to Metropolitan Transportation Authority Chairman and CEO Thomas F. Prendergast,Malloy "urged the MTA Board of Directors to approve a refund plan for Connecticut customers of Metro-North. In particular, the Governor has suggested that Consolidated Edison bear the responsibility for underwriting customer refunds as a result of service disruption following the September 25 failure of a Con Ed feeder cable in Mount Vernon, N.Y. "
