The tell-all redistricting agenda

Here is the agenda for Wednesday night's redistricting commission meeting. Not much going on.

Oh, wait. "New business" apparently translates into "Approving a new House district map, approving a new Senate district map, recommending a 30-day extension (which the Supreme Court will hopefully grant us) and thanking all the innumerable people who made the redistricting process, excruciating as is may have been, possible."

"Closing remarks" means, "We're going to lose a member of the commission because he may or may not have had a conflict of interest and we're going to install a new member in his place."

"Adjournment" apparently means, "Time for each party to accuse the other of playing politics, as opposed to bargaining with good governance in mind."
